Smart Boating is Safe Boating.

The best way to become a smart boater is to enroll in a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary safe boating program.  Flotilla 34 offers two programs for you:

Boating Safety & Seamanship

Geared to the novice boater, this program is also appropriate for the person who has been in boating for many years and has never had a safe boating program, or who feels that their skills could use a refresher program.  We discuss every aspect of safe boating in the following classes:

Sign - Boats Have No Brakes

Which Boat Is For You?

Lines and Knots for Your Boat  Bowline

Equipment for Your Boat

Trailering Your Boat

Handling Your Boat                                         Cartoon picture of Snoopy in a lifeboat.
